Position Summary
Univision’s DFW Local Media Sales department is seeking a motivated, organized and project focused
individual to join their highly successful sales organization as a Sales & Marketing Manager. The role is
tied directly to sales operations and will be responsible for:
a. Creating sales packages – media campaigns for Television, Experiential and Digital
b. Developing comprehensive Sales Initiatives with Univision Local Platforms &
Event/Experiential Opportunities
c. Present and Build POP outlining Campaign details and outcomes to Clients and Mgmt.
The Sales & Marketing Manager’s will work with the Television Sales Team and other departments to
create & execute sales initiatives for new and existing clients. They will lead ideation and
developmental RFP’s received from Local or National Accounts or Agencies. Represent the local media
creative team in high-level client meetings and production shoots to present ideas, assess client needs,
effectively manage Client campaigns and maximize revenue opportunities.
This role requires good analytical and problem-solving skills to address, foresee and resolve potential
obstacles in the ideation and execution in marketing campaigns. Build relationships with key personnel
in divisional platforms with a focus on digital and experiential ideations in order to effectively weave
together cohesive multi-touch point offerings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction on creation of insight-driven storytelling-focused sales
proposals
• Oversee production/execution logistics
• Represent the marketing team in high-level client meetings
• Develop and coach Sellers with category expertise
• Work collaboratively with Corp Marketing and Sales Management to build
comprehensive media schedules
• Build relationships and optimize process with key personnel in divisional platforms
• Assist and Approve of sales proposals, sales material and campaign recaps

• Update Rate Cards for Sales Packaging Software and specific platform opportunities

Required Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years or more television sales marketing ideation and execution experience in Television,
Experiential or Digital sales with a multiplatform focus
• A strategic thinker – able to see opportunities for content monetization and to foresee and prevent
execution issues
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills proven ability to evaluate and optimize
campaigns during and after the campaign
• Experience creating and executing integrated cross-platform media solutions
• A positive, solutions-oriented and success-driven attitude
• Extremely detail oriented with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high volume, high pressure,
fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly and continuously adapt to and embrace new trends and technologies
Desired Qualifications:
• Spanish Language Multi-Platform experience
• Spanish fluency and/or multi-cultural experience preferred
• Expertise in PowerPoint; Presi or Keynote a plus
• Knowledge of Strata and other Sales and Traffic systems a plus
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work at the UCI office in Dallas, Tx
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must be willing to travel on an as needed basis
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
