The Manager, Demand Response – Service Coordination reports directly to the Director, Demand Response Operations. This position is responsible for supervision of all functions of the Control Center Service Coordinators and oversight for service provider dispatchers in the delivery of exceptional Paratransit service and innovative mobility operations to Capital Metro customers. This position will coordinate directly with contracted service provider management; MetroAccess eligibility; contract oversight staff; Capital Metro planning department; Capital Metro procurement; Capital Metro Finance; community members and all other stakeholders. Ensure that customer inquiries and concerns are answered in a courteous, accurate and timely manner. Provide individual as well as shared leadership and direction to the entire Control Center department.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Affairs, planning, geography, or related field. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience required in Transit Dispatch, Scheduling or Control Center environment.
• Three (3) years of supervision of transit operational staff (bargaining unit environment experience preferred, not required).
Salary Range: $67,404/YR to $84,255/YR
