Job Description
This position will provide overall support to the Office of Diversity to facilitate the day-to-day and long-range implementation of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) programs, contract administration, tracking of D/SBE payments, and various diversity projects. Work in a team environment in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented atmosphere.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. Related experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four years.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in planning and/or analysis that includes developing, conducting and implementing business programs. • Familiarity or experience with minority, government or business programs (SBA, DBE, HUB, MBE, WBE, etc.) preferred.
• One (1) year of database management, PC-based word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
• Experience with B2Gnow vendor payment software preferred.
Salary Range: $54,057 TO $67,571/YR

Program Manager, System Safety - Bus and Paratransit
The Program Manager, System Safety – Bus and Paratransit reports directly to the VP Safety, Risk & Accessible Services Management. This position is responsible for the implementation and day-to-day operation of Capital Metro’s Safety Management System and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to the safe operation of bus and paratransit services. This position will also collaborate with the safety personnel of bus and paratransit service providers to address all aspects of system safety.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field. Related experience may substitute on a year by year basis up to four (4) years.
• Five (5) years increasingly responsible experience, overseeing transit safety programs including bus.
• Five (5) years of experience developing and implementing safety-related programs.
• Experience with word processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets and database software.
• USDOT Transit Safety and Security Program certificate required.
• World Safety Organization Certified Safety Specialist certification desired.
Salary Range: $75,056 TO $93,820/YR
